A Technology-Agnostic Approach

EnerFORGE uses a technology-agnostic approach when developing energy and communications infrastructure solutions. As a result, our portfolio includes a broad range of climate responsive and adaptive technologies such as solar photovoltaic (PV), CHP, renewable natural gas (RNG), lithium-ion battery storage and, coming soon, it will also include residential and transit-focused electric vehicle charging assets.

Our asset list is configured to feature leading functionalities and includes demand-response micro-grids, virtual power plants, district energy systems, net-metered RNG projects, automated and islanded climate resilience centres, regional operating platforms, residential solar energy management systems and virtual power plants.

So what do these seemingly disparate projects have in common? They represent uniquely forged designs that are perfectly tailored to meet client needs. They also represent a strategic convergence between different elements within Canada’s green economy, allowing for a continually improving carbon footprint for our project base.

EnerFORGE’s strategic portfolio will have more than 20 projects across ~90 sites in operation across the GTHA by the end of 2020. The following map shows assets that receive industry-leading operational and maintenance services through our operational platform.
