Description

Located on campus at Durham College/Ontario Tech University, this 2.4MW natural gas-fired CHP generation plant provides heat and electricity to both institutions. The thermal energy is used to heat existing facilities on campus while the electricity produced helps lower the institutions’ demand from the local power grid.
